Second Entry

What have I done in the four months since leaving school:

• Read several novels from cover to cover
• Rocked in a corner for several days trying to figure out life
• Sent out resumes to a couple of dozen "minions for hire" with no feed back
• Doing my own thing and have nothing shown of it
• Whittling away the last amount of coin in the account
• Nearly thrown tool of my trade through several times due to "Wifi: No hardware installed"
• Lost all my old designs but thanks to the internet have their shells
• Learned to backup religiously
• Started third novel
  
• Attended several interviews
• Received a dozen of "we like the sound of you and your look but that is not the direction we are willing to go" or "we have found several other candidates who suite the position better than you due to their experience but nice chat and good luck for your future"

So, back to training I go to escape the void that has now become my life as a graphic designer.   With no income nor any action from the internet have slowly began to go the old fashion way of here be dragons and trying to branch out into the graphic design community.
The loop so far has been the best at finding out about what people want but at the same time a huge amount of disappointment due to the automated response of job posters.


But BLEEEGH to all that.   I'm a graphic designer doing my own thing, spreading my word into the world regardless of what anyone thinks even if I do lack experience and the words from an old pick me up song by Coolio "They say I gotta learn, but nobody's here to teach me" damn the catch 22!
But I'm stronger and wiser than when I started this a month ago and plans are now being created as by the end of the month i will have something regardless.   All I need is contacts in OZ!  Contacts and places to go in London on my twittier feed is all well and good but how do I get there with no $$$?
